Joining the #RedSocksFriday with Open Streets Cape Town

This morning Consul General swapped four wheels for two and joined the #RedSocksFriday with the passionate cycling community of Cape Town.

"We need to build the relationship between motorists and cyclists so riding through the middle of the city now in the middle of the day, motorists need to see people on bikes, they need to be aware that people are on bikes in the city, and of course they can also see us adhering to the rules." - Alan Winde, Premier of the Western Cape.

"We are launching our first SA Green Cycle Tour between Khayelitsha the CTICC (Cape Town International Convention Centre) in March 2020 - Sakhele Ndabeni, CEO from GreenSpaces South Africa
