NATIONWIDE (25 June 2018) - The Netherlands Ministry of Infrastructure and Water Management and the South African Department of Water and Sanitation have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) today during this year’s WISA 2018 Biennial Conference. The MoU provides for the establishment of a framework for cooperation in the field of water resources. By signing the MoU, both parties pledge their commitment for the continued and joint effort in the collaboration in the water sector.
CAPE TOWN, 25 June 2018 – With the ongoing concern around the availability of water in the Western Cape, the province’s water challenges have been widely reported on. Innovative solutions and strong partnerships will be required to help solve issues around water security and scarcity and managing the ‘new normal’ when it comes to consumption and the preservation of this natural resource.
Even though our countries differ, there are many parallels in the public and cultural debates on identity, integration and transformation. Our long term cultural policy is therefore focused on co-creating cultural interventions to build mutual understanding and trust.
